In need of some last-minute gift inspiration? Here are a few ideas that might help you out!
Some gift ideas for if you feel like splashing out a little:
This radio is one I picked up in the January sales last year. Admittedly, for a radio, it’s quite pricey, but the sound quality is second to none. Plus it’s made of leather with gold plated controls – Just look at how gorgeous it is! Whoever you’re considering this for will be forever getting compliments on it – I definitely do!
ASOS have got these purses at an absolute steal right now. They’re great for anyone who’s forever carrying too many loyalty cards and receipts around in their purse. There’s plenty of room, and even a handy removable wrist strap too!
How pretty are these mugs? I love a bit of Emma Bridgewater pottery, and I also love the fact that you can get items personalised. This is a baby mug, so it’s slightly smaller than average, but there are a range of different sizes and patterns for you to choose from!
There’s something really lovely about being able to sip your tea from a mug that’s been made especially for you.
(Oh, and if you’re interested, you can read about my trip to the Emma Bridgewater factory here, where I decorated my own!)
A photography enthusiast’s dream! These retro cameras are everywhere. If you hadn’t already guessed, they’re film cameras! The Instax Minis pop your photo out from the top instantly, so they’re great for capturing moments over Christmas and New Year! (And the newest models even have a mirror to make taking your festive selfies WAY easier.)
The cult American beauty brand, Glossier, recently started shipping to the UK; much to the delight of beauty fanatics and bloggers alike. This set is perfect for someone who’d love to try some of their products without spending too much in case they dislike it. (By buying this set, you’re actually saving £8 compared with buying them individually.)
It comes with the much-loved Milky Jelly Cleanser, the Priming Moisturiser, and the Balm Dot Com. (And you get to choose from a range of dreamy flavours for the latter too!)
And if your Christmas gift budget is a tad tighter?
I love these little mini body sprays! So much so, that I always carry one around in my handbag for if I want to freshen myself up. They’re light and small, but seem to last for months on end, and they’re super cheap too.
Oh, and they smell gorgeous, which is the main thing you’re looking for in a fragrance, really, isn’t it? All in all, a perfect little stocking filler!
Etsy is a fantastic place to scour for presents. Oh Squirrel is a shop (run by a fellow Katie!) that I stumbled across quite a while ago via Instagram, and I love Katie’s prints. I’ve got two of them, and this one reads: ‘This too shall pass’ which is perfect for those who are in need of some encouraging words each day. She also sells a range of other items like cards, sashes and badges!
Wouldn’t it be swell for your loved one to have a little reminder to start their day with a smile, rather than with an exhausted frown? Introducing: The brightest, happiest travel mug around! It’s bright pink, it’s cheery, and it’s perfect for that special someone who loves a cuppa on their morning commute.
Let’s be honest, you might well have seen these popping up on loads of blogs over recent months, and for good reason! These coasters are so pretty, and they’re really thick and sturdy too. (And they’re marble and copper effect, so if you happen to know any bloggers offline – this gift idea is a safe bet!)
A present for the insomniac in your life – This lovely body lotion smells of lavender, tonka absolute (yeah, I’m not entirely sure what that is either…), and cocoa butter. It’s a lotion I’ve been using myself for a few weeks, and it smells gorgeous; while also helping me to drift off more easily. So, if you’re looking to get into an insomniac’s good books, this is definitely a prezzie to try!
Oliver Bonas are great for little stocking fillers like this adorable Saskia Ring Holder. This is definitely one for the cat lovers in your life!
A cute little necklace for the scientist in your life…. (Who’ll no doubt spend all of January explaining what’s on their necklace, but that’s their problem.)
A cheeky little gift idea for someone who needs a blunt daily reminder to embrace the whole ‘kindness’ thing.
Not the ideal present for everyone (especially not your boss!) but for someone you know well, who won’t take offence, it’s fantastic.
(And it does also give them lifetime membership to the ‘Don’t Be A D*ck club’ – they get a membership card and everything.)
Got a friend who loves their music/radio/podcasts and can’t go without listening anywhere and everywhere they go? This is perfect for them! It’s a waterproof speaker, which means they can listen to their cheesiest Spotify playlists everywhere, even in the bath.
I’ve got it here in a purple-red colour, but it’s also available in blue and grey too! (It looks like a little macaron, but it’s not, so don’t be tempted to give it a nibble.)
