Just a little post to wish you a very Merry Christmas! (Also, why are you reading this instead of sipping sherry and watching the Queen, dear reader?)
I’m currently sat in amongst piles of wrapping paper (that Cookie’s trying his best to nibble away at) with Christmas songs murmuring away in the background from the radio. It’s bliss.
We’ve just watched the Queen, and while taking blog photos, I belted out ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ so loudly (and badly) that it scared the dog…. All in all, a pretty standard Christmas.
Christmas dinner’s cooking away in the oven, so naturally, the house smells amazing. And EastEnders is on later, and something big’ll crack off, I’m sure. (I’ve not watched it for ages, but I’m sure I’ll pick it all back up pretty easily, right?)
I’m not allowed in the kitchen to help out with the dinner because I’m deemed too incompetent and too much of a liability by my family. So, I’ve got the very easy job of relaxing on the sofa in front of the TV until it’s ready. It’s a hard life, isn’t it?
Also, while I’m here, and feeling a bit soppy (It’s not the prosecco, honest.) I just wanted to thank you for reading, and I hope you’re having a wonderful day, filled with love and laughter; rather than arguments that could rival those from Albert Square.
I’ll be back tomorrow with my pick of the Boxing Day sale bargains!
Have a good one,
