Happy Hump Day! For a little midweek read, here’s a list of the top ramblings from 2017 on this blog!
I was going to take you through my favourite posts to write last year (like I did here in 2016) but seeing as things were a bit sparse on the blogging front, not many posts sprang to mind! So, I thought this was an interesting idea instead!
Anyway, without further ado, let’s see what the top posts of 2017 were:
Top spot is awarded to a review of the cult toner: Pixi Glow Tonic! Looking at my statistics, this post is probably the most read of all time on this blog! The post was published in January and included me talking about whether it worked for me, and more importantly if it really deserved the hype it receives.
If you want to know the answer, you can read it here!
Back in October, I decided to compile a list of 50 blog post ideas, catering for a range of different blog niches. I know how much you guys love a good list post, and it seemed like a great idea to do it in October – as that’s when a lot of bloggers decide to do Blogtober and need all the ideas they can get!
If you’re in need of some inspiration, find it here.
Admittedly, the fact this post did so well surprised me a little! In the name of trying something new, I decided to compile a bumper post about my October. It included a collage of pictures that I took throughout the month, my highlights, discussed whether I met my monthly goals or not, and even had a playlist of songs that I’d loved throughout October.
It was just a bit of an experiment, and it took FOREVER to put together (we’re talking several days, if not weeks here!) Incidentally, is it the sort of thing you’d like me to do more regularly? Let me know!
And you can catch up, if you fancy travelling back in time by a few months, here!
Back in February, I wrote this (rather excitable) post all about my first ever trip to H&M Home. My nearest store doesn’t have a homeware section, so I’d never sampled the delights on offer. I happened to be in Wolverhampton (of all places) for a job interview, and when I was killing a bit of time by shopping before my train home, I stumbled across H&M Home. So, of course, I strung a blog post out of it!
If you want to know what pretty things I bought, find the post here!
A very late addition to this list is another list post! (Surprise, surprise!) I decided to document 8 things I was looking forward to over the festive period. The title’s pretty self-explanatory, y’know? If I remember rightly, I did a similar thing in 2016, but had no idea that this post would do well enough to end up in the top five of 2017!
Find that post here, if you’re (strangely) still in the festive mood.
And, the other posts in the top ten are:
6. 10 Things I Wish I Knew When I Started Blogging (Which is actually from late 2016 but took off in 2017!)
7. An Evening at Nottingham Winter Wonderland (A photo diary from the Nottingham Christmas Market in December.)
9. Lessons I’ve Learned in 2017 (Another late addition to the list!)
Which was your favourite?[pipdig_social_icons]
